Prawns are the best food for elevating my mood. They take very little time to cook and are simple to make. If you’re a first-time fish eater, Crispy Malvani Prawn Fry should be at the top of your list. If you have the prawns cleaned by your fish vendor, they will be on your platter within 30 minutes.

Malvani Crispy Prawns Fry combines the spicy bite of Malvani Fish Masala with the sweet and savoury taste of prawns and crispy texture from rice flour coating. Additionally, the crunchy texture of prawns entices you to consume more.

I don’t even need curry or gravy when I eat prawns with rice bhakari, chapati, or steamed Rice. Fresh prawns and proper cooking are prerequisites for the ultimate prawn fry. Overcooked prawns get stiff or rubbery.

Approximately 20 to 25 grams of protein can be obtained from 100 grams of prawns, and they also include many other minerals. Before, the sea was the only place from where we got the prawns, but in recent years, prawn farming has gained a lot of popularity.

Prawns and shrimp have similar appearances, however prawns taste sweeter and are larger than shrimp.

Instructions

  1. Get some Fresh Prawns.

  2. Under running water, give the prawns a thorough wash, making sure the outer layer is not slippery. Now take off the body, head, and tail's outer shell.

Washing it with regular water will help defrost if the prawns are frozen.
  3. Make sure the black vein is removed.

  4. Occasionally, the black vein broke off while being pulled from the prawn's body, leaving some of it inside. That vein needs to be removed entirely. Using a little knife, cut the rear side.

  5. Verify if the vein has been fully removed.

  6. Once the prawns have been deveined, thoroughly rinse them and remove all of the water.

  7. Use Malvani Fish Curry Masala, Kokam Aagal, and sea salt to marinate it.

  8. Give the marinated Prawns a 15–20 minute rest.

  9. Maintain the pan at a low to medium temperature and allow it get heated.

  10. When the pan is hot, add some oil.

  11. Coat marinated prawns with Rice flour.

  12. Place the coated prawns on a pan after the oil has heated up.

  13. Allow the prawns to become golden, then turn them over to cook on another side.

  14. When the other side of the prawn is done, turn it over and allow the coating to crisp up.

  15. Turn off the heat.

  16. The Crispy Malvani Fry Prawns are prepared for serving.

  17. Fried Prawns can be served as an appetizer with simple Onion Ring Salad sprinkle with Finely chopped Coriander and Red Chilli Powder.
